What better way to blow the cobwebs off on a Sun day morning than with a particularly demented J-Pop video? Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s 2013 song Fashion Monster (ファッションモンスター Fasshon Monsutā) was the third single from the 20-year-old pop singer / fashion model, and while the lyrics have noting to do with actual monsters, the video went all out for ultra kitsch mad monster party imagery. It’s quite the sight, and of course, like much J-pop, the song is both infuriatingly catchy and very earwormy. Consider yourself warned.
