Generally speaking, we at The Reprobate have no time for sport, which seems a pointless waste of energy and tribalism, but we are certainly interested in Best, the new documentary about footballing reprobate George Best. According to the press release, Daniel Gordon’s film “includes footage of his stunning debut with Manchester United through his football glory years, as well as uncovering his off-pitch talents that seduced so many women around the world.” Hopefully more of the latter than the former.
Best – or, to give it the full, cumbersome title, Best (George Best: All By Himself) opens in UK cinemas on February 24th.
