The next two installments in Mute’s essential Throbbing Gristle coloured vinyl re-releases are imminent, with D.O.A. The Third and Final Report of Throbbing Gristle and Greatest Hits being both issued in September.
D.O.A. arrives on transparent green vinyl and comes with an additional download of twelve bonus tracks – primarily assorted live recordings from 1978. Greatest Hits is on transparent orange vinyl and have nine bonus download tracks – B-sides, singles and alternative mixes. The latter album may have some crossover with the more recent The Taste of TG compilation (and, indeed, the other albums), but completists will want them all of course.
Those of you who don’t have a record player can buy both albums as expanded double CD sets featuring all the bonus material.
