From gators to crab legs, sea world to laser world – Orlando’s tourist traps of yesteryear.
Florida has long been a tourist magnet and back in 1981, there was plenty – well, OK, a reasonable amount – of attractions to keep visitors entertained, all of which were advertised in TV Tempo, a somewhat basic hotel television guide that told people what was on offer for potential shut-ins on Orlando’s five TV channels. The short answer to that was ‘not much’ but presumably, no one went on vacation to Florida in order to watch TV anyway.
