The Satanic Flea Market returns this weekend in its regular London haunt of Elektrowerkz in Islington – just around the corner from Angel Tube. It’s been a while since we made an appearance so you’ll probably be thrilled to hear that Desperate Living will be there, selling T-shirts, books, magazines and other artefacts. We might even bring along some VHS rarities, so crack open the piggy bank. We’ll be positioned next to the redoubtable Billy Chainsaw and heartily encourage you to come along and spend, spend, spend.
As well as us, you’ll find all manner of artists, creatives, tarot types, booksellers, fashionistas and people selling the weirdest stuff imaginable. Feel free to buy stuff from them if you have any money left after visiting our stall. And enjoy the glorious and exotic crowd – like the fetish clubs of old, this is a place where everyone can be whatever they want to be. Even the mad Christians like the chap who insisted on talking to us about the dangers of the occult at great length last time we did a stall.
If you can’t make it along to the Satanic Flea Market, don’t worry – there is a special extra event, The Dark Arts Fayre, in Camden on May 12th. It’s at The Vanguard in Camden Stables, and you’ll find us there too. By that time, we should have our exciting new T-shirts, featuring… well, let’s not spoil the surprise. We’ll be announcing those next week for pre-order and believe me, you won’t want to miss out on them. Whatever we have left from the limited edition will be at the Dark Arts Fayre alongside our usual products.

It’s about time that Camden had something cool happening again, so make sure you come along if you are in the vicinity (or travel and make a day of it – there’s probably something else you can do in London as well). As ever, don’t be shy – make yourself known to us if you are there.
Like what we do? Support us and help us do more!
