Raw-k ‘N’ Roll: Wild Evel And The Trashbones At The Blast-Off Festival

Trashbones

Continuing our series of archival, unedited, uncensored live music recordings, here’s Austrian garage punk revivalists Wild Evel and the Trashbones playing at the Blast-Off Festival in Nottingham at – ahem – Spanky Van Dykes – in 2011. This is a splendidly chaotic performance by the Austrian rockers and the footage is appropriately frantic.

A few of the Trashbones tracks are curtailed sadly, due to the necessity of filming restrictions – again, this was originally planned as footage to cull a single track from, with video footage edited from the whole show. That never happened and the tape has sat gathering dust for over a decade. It seems sensible to share it with you intact.

We still have several more bands to add to this series – and are hoping to shoot some new content as time goes on, capturing rock ‘n’ roll as it ought to be seen – uncut, unvarnished and out of control. If you are a noisy beat combo who would like to be included, feel free to get in touch.
